What We Do

Providing modest grants to widowed or unmarried women in Chatham County over the age of 60.

Our History

From 1834 to 1985, the Savannah Widows' Society owned and supported various charity residences. Though the residences were eventually razed or sold, the Board continues to meet monthly to handle the business of the Society.
